    Car

    If you are traveling by car from Prineville, head northwest on US-26 W toward the junction with OR-27. Continue on US-26 W for about 20 miles. Turn left onto Pine Mountain Road. Follow Pine Mountain Road for approximately 15 miles, where you will reach the Pine Mountain Observatory, located at the end of the road. Be aware that the road can be narrow and winding, so drive carefully.

    Car

    If you are coming from Bend, take US-97 S from Bend. After about 20 miles, take the exit toward US-26 E. Follow US-26 E for approximately 25 miles. Turn right onto Pine Mountain Road and drive for about 15 miles to reach the observatory. Again, please note that the road can be steep and may have limited visibility at night.
