Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head to Terrebonne, Oregon. From the center of Terrebonne, take Smith Rock Way heading east. Follow this road for about 3 miles until you reach Smith Rock State Park. There is a parking lot at the entrance. Note that there may be a parking fee of $5 per vehicle, which can be paid at the self-service kiosk.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, you will need to first get to Redmond, Oregon. From Redmond, you can take a local taxi service or rideshare (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Smith Rock State Park in Terrebonne, which is approximately 15 miles away. Please check the local transit schedules for any bus services that may also connect these locations.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can bike from Terrebonne to Smith Rock State Park. There are designated bike paths along Smith Rock Way. Ensure you have a bike lock, as there are bike racks available at the park entrance. Always wear a helmet and follow traffic rules.

• Walking

  Walking to Smith Rock is only advisable if you are in close proximity. If you are in Terrebonne, it is about a 3-mile walk to the park entrance. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the terrain can be rugged and the weather can change quickly.
