Follow US-26 E for about 12 miles until you reach the junction with OR-97. Merge onto OR-97 N, and after approximately 10 miles, take the exit for Smith Rock State Park (Exit 136). Follow the signs for Smith Rock State Park, and you will reach the entrance. There is a parking fee of $5 for day use, which can be paid at the self-service payment station.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, the nearest bus service is from the Central Oregon Breeze, which connects Prineville to other cities. You will need to take the bus to Redmond first. Once in Redmond, you can use a rideshare service or a taxi to reach Smith Rock State Park. The total travel time may vary, but expect it to take a few hours due to connections and waiting times. Bicycle
