Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway by heading south on the highway. Continue for about 10 miles until you reach the intersection with Loon Lane. Turn right onto Loon Lane and follow it for approximately 0.5 miles. Cardinal Landing Bridge will be on your left at 57766 Loon Ln, Sunriver, OR 97707. There is ample parking nearby.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, take the Cascades East Transit bus service that operates in the Bend and Sunriver area. Check the schedule for bus routes that service the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway. Get off at the nearest stop to Loon Lane. From there, it’s about a 10-15 minute walk. Head east on Loon Lane, and Cardinal Landing Bridge will be on your left. Keep in mind that the bus service may have limited hours, so check the schedule in advance.

• Biking

  For those who prefer biking, there are bike paths along the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway. Rent a bike from a local vendor in Sunriver and head towards Loon Lane. Follow the path to Loon Lane and then ride down the lane for approximately 0.5 miles. The bridge will be on your left. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations.

• Walking

  If you're already in the Sunriver area, walking to Cardinal Landing Bridge is a pleasant option. Start from the Sunriver Village and head south on the bike path towards Loon Lane. It’s a scenic walk of about 1.5 miles. Once you reach Loon Lane, continue for another 0.5 miles until you see Cardinal Landing Bridge on your left.
