If you're traveling by car along the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway, head southeast on Cascade Lakes Highway (OR-372) from either direction. Continue for approximately 20 miles until you reach the intersection with Lava Cast Forest Road. Turn left onto Lava Cast Forest Road. Drive for about 1 mile and you will find the Lava Cast Forest Day Use Interpretive Site on your right. There is no fee for parking at the site.
