If you're driving from Bend, head east on Highway 20. Continue on Highway 20 for about 15 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 97. Turn left onto Highway 97 North and drive for approximately 10 miles. Look for signs for Sparks Lake; you will need to exit onto the road leading to the lake. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at Sparks Lake.
Public Transportation
To reach Sparks Lake via public transportation, start by taking the Cascade East Transit bus from downtown Bend. You will want to take Route 1 (Bend to La Pine). Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to the intersection of Highway 97. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to reach Sparks Lake. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time to ensure you catch the right bus.
