If you are driving from Bend, take US-97 N for about 20 miles. Then, take the exit toward OR-126 W. Follow OR-126 W for approximately 12 miles until you reach the intersection with Forest Service Road 14. Turn left onto Forest Service Road 14 and drive for about 2 miles. The Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery will be on your left at 7500 Forest Service Rd 14, Camp Sherman, OR 97730.
Public Transportation
Currently, there are limited public transportation options directly to Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery. However, you can take a bus from Bend to Sisters via the Cascades East Transit system. Once in Sisters, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to the hatchery. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may not be frequent. The total cost for the bus ride is approximately $5.
Bicycle
For the adventurous, biking to Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery is an option. From Bend, you can bike along the scenic roads via US-97 N and OR-126 W. This route is approximately 32 miles and may take several hours, depending on your cycling speed. Be sure to wear a helmet, follow traffic laws, and bring water and snacks for the journey.
