If you're traveling by car, you can use the address X2XF+56, North Powder, OR 97867, to navigate to Elkhorn Wildlife Area. Start from Interstate 84. Take Exit 285 toward North Powder. Turn left onto Highway 30 and continue for about 7 miles. You'll see signs for the wildlife area. Follow the signs until you reach the entrance.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus to La Grande, OR. From La Grande, you will need to arrange for a local taxi or rideshare service to take you to Elkhorn Wildlife Area, as public transportation directly to the wildlife area is limited. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes and may cost between $30 to $50 depending on the service.
Bike
