If you are driving from Hood River, head south on I-84 E. Take exit 44 for Cascade Locks and merge onto Cascade Locks Hwy. Continue straight for approximately 3 miles until you reach the junction with Forest Road 777. Turn left onto Forest Road 777 and follow the signs for Sherrard Point. The drive will take around 20 minutes, and the road may become narrow and winding as you approach the viewpoint.
