    If you are traveling by car, start from Hood River, OR. Head east on I-84 E towards The Dalles. Take exit 44 toward Cascade Locks. After exiting, turn left onto Cascade Locks Highway (also known as Hwy 30). Continue on this road for approximately 6 miles, following signs for Cascade Locks. Once you reach Cascade Locks, turn onto Gorton Creek Road, which is unpaved and leads into the national forest. Follow Gorton Creek Road for about 2 miles until you reach the Gorton Creek Falls trailhead parking area. There is no parking fee at the trailhead.
