From Hood River, OR, head south on I-84 W. Take exit 16 for Cascade Locks. After exiting, turn left onto E Columbia River Hwy/US-30 E. Continue for about 12 miles until you reach the junction of Larch Mountain Road. Turn left onto Larch Mountain Road (Forest Road 777). Follow the road for approximately 6 miles until you reach the Larch Mountain Trailhead parking area. There are no fees for parking at the trailhead.

Once in Cascade Locks, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Larch Mountain Trailhead, as there are no public transportation options directly to the trail.
