If you are driving from Hood River, head south on OR-35 for approximately 14 miles. After passing through the small community of Mount Hood, turn left onto the Historic Columbia River Highway (Eastbound). Follow this road for about 5 miles. Look for the Oneonta Trailhead sign on your left. The trailhead has a parking area available. Note that there may be parking fees, which are typically around $5 per vehicle.
