From Hood River, you can take the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) bus line. Board the CAT bus at the Hood River Transit Center. Make sure to check the schedule as buses run less frequently on weekends. Take the bus towards Cascade Locks and get off at the stop for Multnomah Falls. Be aware that the bus does not operate directly to Multnomah Falls, so you may need to walk approximately 1 mile along the Historic Columbia River Highway to reach the falls.

If you're up for a bike ride, you can rent a bicycle in Hood River. Start from the downtown area and head south on 1st Street until you reach the intersection with Oak Street. Turn left onto Oak Street, which becomes the Historic Columbia River Highway. Follow the highway for about 30 miles, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Note that the ride is uphill for part of the journey, so make sure you're prepared for a workout. Multnomah Falls will be on your right as you approach Bridal Veil.
