Public Bus

From Hood River, you can take the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) bus line. Board the CAT bus at the Hood River Transit Center. Make sure to check the schedule as buses run less frequently on weekends. Take the bus towards Cascade Locks and get off at the stop for Multnomah Falls. Be aware that the bus does not operate directly to Multnomah Falls, so you may need to walk approximately 1 mile along the Historic Columbia River Highway to reach the falls.
Bicycle

If you're up for a bike ride, you can rent a bicycle in Hood River. Start from the downtown area and head south on 1st Street until you reach the intersection with Oak Street.
