The Ruins: A Romantic Oasis in Hood River

Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Hood River Waterfront Park. From the park, head east along the waterfront path until you reach the intersection with State Route 35. Turn left onto State Route 35 and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You'll pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs that indicate you're entering Railroad Street. Continue straight until you reach 13 Railroad Street, where The Ruins is located. The entrance should be visible on your left.

• Biking

  Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops near downtown Hood River. Head south on Oak Street and then turn right onto 1st Street. Follow 1st Street until you reach the intersection with State Route 35. Turn left on State Route 35 and continue for about 0.5 miles. Look for Railroad Street on your left. Turn left onto Railroad Street and continue biking until you reach 13 Railroad Street, where The Ruins is located.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  Check the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) bus schedule for routes that serve Hood River. Take the bus that stops at the nearest location to the Hood River downtown area. Once you alight, walk east towards State Route 35. From there, head south along State Route 35 for about 0.5 miles until you see Railroad Street on your left. Turn left onto Railroad Street and walk until you reach 13 Railroad Street, where The Ruins is located.
