For instance, if you are in Madras, take US-97 South to connect to US-26. Continue on US-26 for approximately 25 miles until you reach Government Camp. Look for the sign directing you to Mt. Hood Skibowl, located at 87000 US-26, Government Camp, OR 97028. Parking is available on-site but may incur a fee during peak season, so prepare for that.

    For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from your location in Jefferson County to the nearest major transit hub, which is in Bend or Madras. From there, you can catch a Greyhound bus or another local service heading towards Portland. Once you reach Portland, transfer to the Mount Hood Express, which operates between Portland and Government Camp. Make sure to check the schedule in advance, as the frequency may vary by season.
