Once in Mitchell, turn left onto OR-19 and follow the signs for Painted Hills. After about 9 miles, turn left onto Overlook Trail. The Painted Hills Overlook will be on your right. Parking is available at the overlook area. There are no fees to access the Painted Hills unit.
