Car
If you're driving from the town of Sisters, take OR-20 W towards the town of Bend. After about 22 miles, merge onto US-97 N. Continue on US-97 N for approximately 30 miles. Take the exit toward OR-126 W, and continue on OR-126 W for about 25 miles until you reach the junction with McKenzie Hwy (OR-126). Turn right onto McKenzie Hwy and continue for about 10 miles. The Dee Wright Observatory will be on your left, just after the junction with Proxy Falls.

From the city of Madras, take US-97 S for approximately 33 miles. Merge onto OR-126 W toward Sisters/Redmond and continue for about 12 miles. After that, keep following OR-126 W for approximately 20 miles. When you reach the junction at McKenzie Hwy, turn left and drive about 10 miles. The observatory will be on your left.
