Car
If you're traveling by car, start by heading south on Oregon Route 58 from the town of Oakridge. Continue on OR-58 for approximately 23 miles until you reach the junction with OR-97. Take the exit for OR-97 North towards Bend. After about 25 miles, take exit 153 toward OR-126 West. Merge onto OR-126 West and continue for about 15 miles until you see signs for Black Crater. Follow the signs to the Black Crater trailhead, where you'll find parking available.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you will need to take a bus to Bend, Oregon. From Oakridge, take the Lane Transit District bus to Eugene, where you can transfer to an intercity bus heading to Bend (check schedules for connections).
