Car
From Klamath Falls, head east on US-97 N for about 20 miles. Take the exit toward OR-140 E and merge onto OR-140 E. Continue on OR-140 E for approximately 25 miles until you reach the town of Chiloquin. In Chiloquin, turn left onto OR-62 N and follow it for about 14 miles. Then, turn right onto Forest Road 3660, which will lead you into the Sky Lakes Wilderness area. Be aware that some roads may be unpaved and require a high-clearance vehicle. Make sure to check road conditions before you travel.
Public Transportation
Currently, there are no direct public transportation options to the Sky Lakes Wilderness from Klamath Falls. However, you can take a Greyhound bus from Klamath Falls to Chiloquin. Once in Chiloquin, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to the Sky Lakes Wilderness area, as public transport does not serve this area directly. Always confirm the availability of rideshare services in advance, as they may vary.
Hiking
