Car
If you're driving from Klamath Falls, head northwest on OR-39 N for about 20 miles. Then turn right onto OR-97 N and continue for approximately 11 miles. Turn left onto Silver Lake Rd, and the Klamath Marsh National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center will be on your right at 21401 Silver Lake Rd, Chiloquin, OR 97624. Please note that there is no entry fee to the refuge.

Public transportation options are limited in Klamath Basin. Start by taking a bus from Klamath Falls to Chiloquin. You may need to check local schedules for the best routes. Once in Chiloquin, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to the visitor center, which is about a 10-minute drive away. Be sure to confirm taxi availability in advance.

For those who prefer biking, you can cycle from Chiloquin to the visitor center. Start from downtown Chiloquin and head east on OR-97 N. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Silver Lake Rd, and the center will be on your right. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow all traffic regulations for safety.

Walking to the Klamath Marsh National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center is not practical due to the distance from Chiloquin (approximately 2 miles along Silver Lake Rd). It's recommended to use a taxi or bike if you're coming from the town center.
