After about 30 minutes, take the exit for CA-161 towards Tulelake. Follow CA-161 for about 10 miles until you reach Tulelake. Once in Tulelake, turn left onto Visitor Center Trail and follow the signs for the Lava Beds National Monument. The entrance to Mushpot Cave will be on your right after approximately 1 mile.
