Car
If you are driving, start on US-26 E from any point in Mount Hood National Forest. Continue on US-26 E for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with OR-35 N. Take the exit toward OR-35 N and merge onto OR-35 N. Follow OR-35 N for approximately 8 miles, then turn left onto the Oneonta Gorge entrance, which is well-marked. After entering the area, follow the road until you reach the parking area for Oneonta Gorge.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take the Mt. Hood Express bus service from various locations within Mount Hood National Forest. Board the bus heading towards Government Camp and ask the driver to let you know when to get off at the nearest stop to Oneonta Gorge. After disembarking, you will need to walk about 1 mile along the paved road leading to the entrance of the gorge. Look for signs directing you to Oneonta Gorge.
