After approximately 5 miles, take the exit for OR-173 S toward Welches. Follow OR-173 S for about 4 miles until you reach the town of Welches. Once in Welches, look for signs directing you to the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness. The main entrance is located near the Welches area.
