Car
From Smith Rock State Park, head south on the main park road until you reach the entrance. Turn left onto Smith Rock Way and continue on this road until it merges into Rte 97. Follow Rte 97 north for about 7 miles. The Peter Skene Ogden State Scenic Viewpoint will be on your left. Look for the signs indicating the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
While public transportation options are limited, you can take the Cascades East Transit bus from Redmond to Terrebonne. Once in Terrebonne, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to reach the Peter Skene Ogden State Scenic Viewpoint. Walk east on US-97; the viewpoint is located along the highway. Be mindful of traffic while walking.
Bicycle
If you're cycling from Smith Rock State Park, exit the park and head south on Smith Rock Way. Then, take a left onto Rte 97 and bike north for approximately 7 miles. The viewpoint will be on your left side. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules for safety.
