From downtown The Dalles, start at the intersection of East 3rd Street and Court Street. Head east on East 3rd Street toward Washington Street. Continue straight as East 3rd Street becomes East 4th Street. After a few blocks, turn right onto East 10th Street. Follow East 10th Street until you reach the intersection with Bret Clodfelter Way. Turn left onto Bret Clodfelter Way. The Dalles Dam Visitor Center will be on your right at 3545 Bret Clodfelter Way. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 30 minutes.

If you have a bicycle, start at the downtown area of The Dalles and head east on East 3rd Street. Continue straight as East 3rd Street turns into East 4th Street.
