From any location in Umpqua Valley, head towards Highway 138. If you're in Roseburg, take OR-138 E for approximately 40 miles. If you're coming from Crater Lake, take OR-62 S to OR-138 W. Once you reach the intersection with Forest Road 34, turn onto this road. Follow Forest Road 34 for about 9 miles, which will lead you to the Toketee Falls parking area. The parking lot is located at the Toketee Falls Trailhead.
Public Transportation + Hiking
If you are using public transportation, your best option is to take a Greyhound bus to Roseburg. From Roseburg, you will need to arrange a ride share or taxi to take you to Toketee Falls, as there is no public transit directly to the falls. Once you arrive at the Toketee Falls parking area, the falls are accessible via a short 0.8-mile hike on a well-maintained trail that takes you directly to the viewing area. Ensure you wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water.
Bicycle
For the adventurous, biking to Toketee Falls is an option. From Roseburg, you can take OR-138 E. This route is approximately 40 miles and is scenic, but be cautious as it may include some traffic. Once you reach the intersection with Forest Road 34, turn onto this road and follow it for about 9 miles to the parking area. Remember to wear a helmet and bring essential biking gear.
