Getting There

    From the center of Umpqua Valley, head east on OR-138 E. Continue on OR-138 E for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction with OR-126 E. Take the exit toward OR-126 E and merge onto OR-126 E. Continue on OR-126 E for around 20 miles, passing through the small towns along the way. Once you approach Blue River, keep an eye out for signs indicating Willamette National Forest. The entrance to the forest is just off OR-126 E. You will find ample parking available at various trailheads and campgrounds within the forest. Be sure to check for any parking fees, which may apply in certain areas.

    If you prefer to use public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Umpqua Valley to Eugene.
