Getting There

Car
If you're driving from Joseph, OR, head east on OR-82 E for about 12 miles. Turn left onto the Lostine River Road (County Road 821) and follow it for approximately 8 miles until you reach the junction with Minam Road. Turn left onto Minam Road and continue for about 5 miles. The road will take you into the Eagle Cap Wilderness area. Look for signs directing you to Minam River Lodge. Note that you may need a Northwest Forest Pass for parking, which costs about $5 per day.

From Enterprise, OR, drive south on OR-3 S for about 14 miles. Turn right onto OR-82 W and follow it for about 8 miles. Take a left onto Lostine River Road (County Road 821) and continue for approximately 8 miles. At the junction with Minam Road, turn left and follow it for about 5 miles to reach the lodge. Be aware that a Northwest Forest Pass may be required for parking.

For those using public transportation, take the local bus services available in Wallowa County to reach Enterprise or Joseph. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Minam River Lodge, as public transit does not directly serve the lodge. Expect to pay around $50-$100 for a taxi ride from Joseph or Enterprise to the lodge, depending on the service and time of day.
