If you are traveling by car, start in the town of Joseph, Oregon. From the center of Joseph, head south on Main St. Turn left onto OR-82 E and continue for about 3 miles. Look for Tucker Down Rd on your right. Turn onto Tucker Down Rd, and continue straight for approximately 5 miles. The Ferguson Ridge Ski Area will be on your left. Be aware that some sections of Tucker Down Rd may be unpaved, so a vehicle with good clearance may be beneficial, especially during winter months.
Public Transportation and Shuttle
For those using public transportation, take a bus from nearby towns to La Grande, Oregon, and then arrange a local shuttle service to Joseph. From Joseph, you will need to either rent a car or find local taxis that can take you to Ferguson Ridge Ski Area. Ensure you check the shuttle schedules in advance, as they may not run frequently.
