Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start in the town of Joseph, Oregon. From the center of Joseph, head south on Main St. Turn left onto OR-82 E and continue for about 3 miles. Look for Tucker Down Rd on your right. Turn onto Tucker Down Rd, and continue straight for approximately 5 miles. The Ferguson Ridge Ski Area will be on your left. Be aware that some sections of Tucker Down Rd may be unpaved, so a vehicle with good clearance may be beneficial, especially during winter months.

• Public Transportation and Shuttle

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from nearby towns to La Grande, Oregon, and then arrange a local shuttle service to Joseph. From Joseph, you will need to either rent a car or find local taxis that can take you to Ferguson Ridge Ski Area. Ensure you check the shuttle schedules in advance, as they may not run frequently. Depending on the shuttle service, costs may vary, but expect to pay around $30-$50 for the shuttle ride.

• Bicycle

  If you are feeling adventurous and prefer a bicycle ride, you can start from Joseph. Head south on Main St, then take a left onto OR-82 E. Biking to Ferguson Ridge Ski Area will be about 8 miles.
