From Joseph, Oregon, head south on Main Street (Highway 350). Continue straight for about 2 miles until you reach Wallowa Lake. As you approach the lake, turn left onto Power House Road. The Wallowa Lake Trailhead will be located on your right after approximately 0.5 miles. There is no parking fee at the trailhead, but ensure your vehicle is parked in designated areas.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the Wallowa County Transit bus from Enterprise or La Grande to Joseph. Once in Joseph, you can either walk (approximately 2 miles) to Wallowa Lake or use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft if available.
