If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Fossil, which is approximately 30 miles away. Head east on Highway 19 for about 18 miles until you reach the junction with Oregon Highway 97. Turn left onto Highway 97 and travel north for about 7 miles. After that, take a right onto Old Wagon Road, which is well-marked. Follow Old Wagon Road for approximately 5 miles until you reach the Old Wagon Rd Historical Area. There is no entry fee to access the historical area.
