Start your journey from the main bazaar area in Abbottabad. Head towards the main road (Mansehra Road). Walk straight along the Mansehra Road until you reach the intersection with Kakul Road. This should take about 20-30 minutes on foot. Once at the intersection, turn left onto Kakul Road. Continue walking along Kakul Road for approximately 5 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. After about an hour of walking, you will arrive at Kakul Valley. Look for signboards or ask locals if you need further directions.

From the main bazaar area, find a local rickshaw or bus that operates on the route to Kakul. You can ask locals for the nearest bus stop. Once you board the vehicle, inform the driver of your destination (Kakul Valley). The ride will take about 30 minutes.
