Getting There

Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Skardu city. Head south on the Skardu Road (also known as the Astore Road). Continue for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach the junction for Chumik. Turn left onto the road leading to Chumik. Follow this road for about 10 kilometers. The Chumik Bridge will be on your left, just after you enter the Chumik Farol Desert area. Make sure to have a reliable map or GPS, as some parts might not be well marked.

For public transportation, take a bus or shared van from Skardu to Astore. These usually depart from the main bus terminal and cost around PKR 200-300. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Chumik.
