Getting There

  • Car

    From Skardu, take the Skardu-Karimabad Road (N-15) heading north. Continue for about 180 km until you reach the junction for the Gojal Valley. Turn left onto the Batura Track. Follow this road for approximately 30 km, passing through beautiful landscapes. Look for signs indicating Past Gharben or local guidance for directions as you approach the area.

    From Skardu, take a bus or shared taxi heading towards Karimabad. The journey will take around 6-7 hours and costs approximately PKR 500-800. Once in Karimabad, you can take a local jeep heading towards Gojal. This jeep ride will take about 2 hours and costs around PKR 1000-1500. Inform the driver that you want to go to Past Gharben, and they will drop you off at the nearest point accessible by road.
