Car
If you are starting from Gilgit city, drive towards Nagar Valley on the Karakoram Highway (KKH). The distance is approximately 65 kilometers. Follow the signs to Nagar, which will take you through the stunning landscapes of Gilgit-Baltistan. Upon reaching the town of Hopar, continue straight, and you will find signs directing you towards Bagh Rustum. The huts and camping site are located about 10 kilometers from Hopar, with the final stretch being on a gravel road. Make sure your vehicle is suitable for this terrain.

Public Transportation
From Gilgit city, you can take a shared van or jeep to Nagar. These vehicles depart from the main bus station in Gilgit. The fare is around PKR 300 to 500 per person. The journey takes about 2-3 hours depending on road conditions. Once you reach Hopar, you may need to negotiate a local taxi or hire a jeep to take you the remaining 10 kilometers to Bagh Rustum. Expect to pay around PKR 500 to 1000 for this short taxi ride.
