Walking
From the center of Gilgit, head towards the main road (Karakoram Highway). Walk along the road until you reach the Gilgit Bus Station. From there, take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Skardu. Make sure to confirm that the vehicle will stop at Chonda. The journey will take approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.

Once you arrive at Chonda, you will need to walk towards the viewpoint. The walk from the main road to the viewpoint is about 1 to 2 kilometers. Ask locals for directions to Chunda Valley View Point, as they are familiar with the area. Follow the trail that leads up the hill; it's a moderate hike but offers beautiful scenery along the way.
