Walking
From the center of Gilgit, head towards Gilgit Road (also known as the main road). You can start from the Gilgit Bus Stand. Walk southeast along the Gilgit Road. After about 1 kilometer, you will pass by the Gilgit Scouts Headquarters on your left. Continue walking straight for another 1.5 kilometers, and you will see the NHA Bridge Monument/Nad e Ali Chowk on your right. The monument is located in the Sakwar area, and you will recognize it by its distinct architecture and surrounding area.
Public Transport (Rickshaw)
From the Gilgit Bus Stand, you can take a local rickshaw to Nad e Ali Chowk. Simply ask the rickshaw driver to take you to 'NHA Bridge Monument' or 'Nad e Ali Chowk'. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to have some cash ready to pay the fare, which should be around 100-200 PKR.
Bicycling
If you are comfortable with biking, you can rent a bicycle from local shops near the Gilgit Bus Stand. Once you have a bicycle, head towards Gilgit Road and ride southeast. The distance to Nad e Ali Chowk is about 2.5 kilometers. Enjoy the scenery along the way, and be cautious of the traffic as you approach the monument.
