From the center of Gilgit, head towards the main bus terminal located near the Gilgit River. Once you reach the terminal, look for signs indicating routes to Sassi. You can ask locals for directions to the Sassi bus stand. Board a local minibus or jeep heading to Sassi, which is approximately 30 kilometers from Gilgit. The ride will take about 1-1.5 hours depending on road conditions. Upon arrival in Sassi, disembark at the main stop. From here, you can start trekking towards Haramosh Valley. Follow the trail that leads north into the valley, which is well-marked. The trek from Sassi to Haramosh Valley will take around 3-4 hours, and you will enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
