Shared Jeep
Alternatively, you can take a shared jeep from the Gilgit Bus Terminal. Shared jeeps are faster and more direct. They leave when full, usually around 2 to 6 passengers. The ride to Karimabad takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Just ask for a jeep to Karimabad, and it will drop you off in the town center.

If you prefer a more private option, you can hire a local taxi from Gilgit. This option is more expensive but offers flexibility. The drive to Karimabad takes approximately 2 hours. Be sure to negotiate the price before starting your journey.
