From the center of Gilgit, head towards the main bazaar area. Walk along the main road (Karimabad Road) until you reach the junction with the Skardu Road. This will take about 15-20 minutes. Once at the junction, you can catch a shared jeep or bus that runs frequently to Skardu. The fare is usually around PKR 300-500. The journey will take about an hour. Upon reaching Skardu, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, you can take a local taxi or walk towards Satpara Road. It's about a 1-2 km walk from the bus stop to Manthal Buddha Rock, which is accessible via a well-marked path.

In Gilgit, head to the local jeep stand where you can find shared jeeps heading to Skardu. Ensure that you confirm with the driver that they will drop you off near Satpara Road.
