Car
If you are driving from any location in Hazara, head towards the N-35 (Karakoram Highway) or N-45 depending on your starting point in Hazara. Continue on the N-35 until you reach Peshawar. From Peshawar, take the ring road heading towards Jamrud. Follow the signs for Jamrud and keep an eye on your GPS. The fort is located approximately 40 kilometers from Peshawar. The exact address is 293H+98H, Jamrud, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. There may be tolls on the highway, so keep some cash ready.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Jamrud Fort using public transportation, first find a bus station in Hazara that offers services to Peshawar. Once you arrive in Peshawar, you will need to catch a local bus or taxi towards Jamrud. There are several buses that run regularly from Peshawar to Jamrud, and the fare is usually minimal, ranging between PKR 50-100. Once you arrive in Jamrud, you can either walk or take a local rickshaw to reach the fort, which is about a 10-15 minute ride from the main bus stop.
Rickshaw
If you are already in Jamrud and need to reach the fort, you can hire a local rickshaw. The fare is generally around PKR 100-200 depending on the distance. Just tell the rickshaw driver 'Jamrud Fort' and they will take you directly to the entrance.
