Getting there

Car

If you're driving, navigate to Jamrud Fort by taking the N-35 highway from Peshawar. Follow the signs towards Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards Jamrud. Continue on the main road until you reach Jamrud town, where you will see signs directing you to the fort. Parking is available near the fort entrance. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as the roads can be narrow in some areas.

Public Transportation (Bus)

From Peshawar, you can take a bus heading to Jamrud. Buses frequently depart from the Peshawar Bus Terminal. The fare is typically around PKR 100-150. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Jamrud, you can either walk to the fort (approximately 20 minutes from the bus stop) or hire a local rickshaw for about PKR 50-100 to take you directly to Jamrud Fort.
