If you are traveling by car to K2 Base Camp, you will need to drive on the Karakoram Highway until you reach the Skardu District. From Skardu, you can hire a local jeep to take you to the Askole village, which is the last village before K2 Base Camp. The journey from Skardu to Askole will take around 6-7 hours on a bumpy and rough road.

If you are taking public transportation, you can take a bus or van from Skardu to Askole village. The journey will take longer than by car, around 8-9 hours, as the vehicles make several stops along the way. Once you reach Askole, you will need to trek for about 3 days to reach K2 Base Camp. Make sure to hire a local guide and porters for the trek.
