    Car

    From K2 Base Camp, you will need to first take a vehicle to Skardu city. The drive takes around 12-14 hours, so it's advisable to leave early in the morning. Once in Skardu, head towards Chumik Road, which is approximately 3 km from the city center. Follow the signs to Kharphocho Fort; you may need to ask locals for directions as the road turns slightly uphill towards the fort. Parking is available near the entrance.

    Public Transportation

    If you are opting for public transportation, first take a jeep or minibus from K2 Base Camp to Skardu. The journey can take 12-14 hours depending on the road conditions. Once you reach Skardu, you can take a taxi or a local rickshaw to Chumik Road. The fort is located about 3 km from the Skardu city center. Make sure to negotiate the fare with the driver beforehand. The entrance to Kharphocho Fort is a short walk from where you get dropped off.
