10/10 – Unforgettable Journey to Fairy Meadows and Nanga Parbat

This 6-day guided tour from Islamabad to northern Pakistan was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. My husband and I were picked up at Islamabad Airport, we set off on a scenic drive through Naran and Chilas, taking in the changing landscapes as we headed deeper into the mountains. One of the absolute highlights was the famous jeep ride from Raikot Bridge to Tattu Village. It was thrilling, bumpy, and incredibly scenic — the perfect adventure to kick off the mountain portion of the trip. From there, Fairy Meadows completely lived up to its name. The views were breathtakingly beautiful and truly amazing; I could have stayed there forever just soaking it all in. The trek to Nanga Parbat Base Camp was both challenging and deeply rewarding. Standing at the base of the “Killer Mountain” with those towering peaks all around was an unforgettable experience — absolutely fantastic. What made the whole trip even better were our tour guides, Haroon and Zaheer. They were kind, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and took excellent care of us every step of the way. Their support and positive energy made everything run smoothly and helped us feel safe and well looked after throughout. If you’re looking for an adventure that combines stunning scenery, thrilling jeep rides, and a rewarding trek to one of the world’s most iconic mountains, this tour delivers on every level. Highly recommended — I would rate it a perfect 10/10.

We went to Kalash, then crossed Shandur Pass a drop dead beauty and finally reached Gilgit. it was such a memorable trip. The views, the food literally everything was great, and all the arrangements were really well managed. Everything went smoothly and we enjoyed every bit of the journey.
