Car
From Khunjerab Pass, take the main road towards the Khunjerab National Park. Continue driving for approximately 15 kilometers on the scenic road, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. As you approach the area, look for signs indicating the direction to Karun Kuh. The road may become narrower and less maintained, so drive carefully. Upon reaching the coordinates (36.6116666, 75.0808333), you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle. Note that the last section of the road may require a 4x4 vehicle due to rough terrain.
Public Transportation
While public transportation options are limited, you can take a shared jeep or van from the nearest town, Sost, which is about 30 kilometers from Khunjerab Pass. From Sost, look for local drivers who offer rides to the Khunjerab National Park. Make sure to confirm that they can take you to Karun Kuh specifically. The fare for a shared ride typically ranges from PKR 500 to PKR 1000 per person, depending on the number of passengers. The journey will take about 45 minutes. Upon reaching the park entrance, you may need to hire a local guide or driver for the remaining trip to Karun Kuh.
