From Leh, head south on NH3 towards Kargil. After approximately 12 km, take a left onto the road leading to Nubra Valley. Continue for about 120 km until you reach Diskit. From Diskit, take the road to Panamik and further towards the Shyok River. You will need to navigate towards the base camp of Gasherbrum I, which typically involves off-road driving. Ensure you have a capable vehicle and a local guide for this part of the journey.

Take a shared taxi or bus from Leh to Kargil. From Kargil, you can catch a bus heading towards Diskit. This journey will take about 10-12 hours.
