Car
If you are in Neelum Valley, you can drive to Machiara National Park by taking the Neelum Road. Start from the main town of Muzaffarabad and head northeast on Neelum Road (N-15) for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Sharda. From Sharda, continue on Neelum Road, which will take you directly to Machiara National Park. The total drive will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Make sure to check the condition of your vehicle as the roads can be narrow and winding.

Public Transportation
To reach Machiara National Park using public transport, you can take a bus or a shared van from Muzaffarabad to Sharda. The buses depart from the main bus station in Muzaffarabad and cost around PKR 300-500 per person. The journey to Sharda takes about 2 hours. Once you reach Sharda, you can hire a local taxi or a rickshaw to take you to Machiara National Park, which is roughly 13 kilometers away from Sharda. This taxi ride will cost around PKR 500-800.
