Please note that there is an entry fee for the park, which is around PKR 300 per person. After entering the park, follow the signs to Sheosar Lake, which is about 20 kilometers from the entry point. The road can be rough in places, so be cautious and drive slowly. The total journey from Skardu to Sheosar Lake will take about 2-3 hours, depending on road conditions.

For those using public transportation, start from Skardu and take a shared jeep or minibus heading towards Deosai National Park. These vehicles usually depart from the main bus stand in Skardu. The fare for the jeep ride is approximately PKR 500-700 per person. The ride will take you to the park entrance, which is about 30 kilometers away. After entering the park, you may need to hire another jeep to reach Sheosar Lake, as it is roughly 20 kilometers from the entry point. The cost for this second leg can range from PKR 2000 to PKR 3000, depending on the number of passengers and negotiation. The total travel time using public transport may take around 3-4 hours, including waiting times.
