We had an extra free day in Islamabad, so we decided to visit Peshawar with Waqas. It turned out to be a wonderful day, starting early in the morning. The journey to Peshawar passed very quickly. Along the way, we got to see everyday life in Pakistan through the car window and listen to Waqas’s stories and explanations about the country. The tour around the city was very well organized, and we visited many interesting places, including the bazaar, museums, and a mosque. Waqas was a great guide and shared a lot of interesting information about Pakistan’s history, culture, daily life, and traditions. We really enjoyed the day and learned a lot about this beautiful country. Thank you very much, Waqas, for the wonderful tour and for making our visit to Peshawar so memorable!

🇵🇰Day3: 📍 Peshawar | Take a breath in the Pashtun fireworks From Islamabad all the way west, into this old border city just 40km from Afghanistan, the bus 🚌 was too cool in colour. Lost in Qissa Khwani Bazaar (Story Tea House Bazaar), the woollen blanket's thick touch is still at your fingertips, and the air mixes with roast aromas and dust. A visit to the carved and wooded Sethi House Museum made it seem as if you could still hear the humpbells on the Silk Road a hundred years ago; under the white marble arches of the Mahabat Khan Mosque stood a long-lost peace of mind amidst the light. The plate of Local beef gravy (Pulao) for lunch, the grease aroma, completely cured my nostalgia. The only regret: it was impossible to cross Kabul by road with an air visa, and the wind from Khyber Pass could not get in this time. Just pack your bags and head back to Islamabad. *Skardu Visit Review 🌄✨* Skardu is one of those places that hits you the moment you land. Here’s how a trip there usually feels: *1. The Vibe* Skardu feels raw + peaceful at the same time. Snow-capped peaks, the Indus River cutting through, and that super clean mountain air *we visited the Spots* - *Shangrila Lake / Lower Kachura Lake*: That turquoise water with pine trees + resort on the island. Postcard perfect. - *Upper Kachura Lake*: Quieter, colder, more “wild”. Great if you want zero tourists. - *Katpana Desert / Cold Desert*: Sand dunes with mountains behind them. Surreal, especially at sunset. If you love mountains, quiet, and stars that actually look like stars, Skardu delivers. It’s not a “resort trip” place. It’s a “sit by the river and do nothing” place. The hotels were very good, and driver was very helpful
